HOIANA RESORT & GOLF AND DONG A UNIVERSITY SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON TRAINING AND RECRUITING STUDENTS FROM QUANG NAM AND DA NANG
[Quang Nam – 22, Sep 2023] – On September 22, the Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between Hoiana Resort & Golf and Dong A University successfully took place. On this special occasion, Hoiana also awarded 10 scholarships to unprivileged students currently studying at the university.
On September 22, Hoi An South Development Ltd (Hoiana Resort & Golf) and Dong A University (UDA) officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on joint training programs, career orientation, and recruiting students. The event welcomed Mr. Steven Wolstenholme – Hoiana President & CEO, Mr. Luong Minh Sam – Chairman of the Dong A University Council, representatives of the Board of Management from both units and 50 students from UDA.

The MOU would lay a foundation for Hoiana and Dong A University to organize internships, seminars, and career orientation for students from the Language and Tourism faculties during the period 2023– 2025. Accordingly, students from UDA would have opportunities to take internship at the resort. Based on that, Hoiana would prioritize recruiting excellent graduates for suitable positions, as well as selecting local students for the Hoiana’s Management Trainee programs based on their academic results and achievements.

“Since day one, our vision has been setting the development of the project to be paralleled with the improvement of the local community, to pursue a long-term and sustainable development. Thus, recruiting and developing local talents is one of our top priorities. I believe that the MOU would enhance comprehensive cooperation between the two units in training and recruitment, contributing to the supplement of high-quality human resources for the regional tourism, especially for new industry in Vietnam.” – Mr. Steven Wolstenholme shared at the ceremony.
Mr. Luong Minh Sam also declared that thanks to MOU with Hoiana, their students would have broader ways to practice and sharpen their professional skills, leading to more job opportunities in the future.
